Cons

The commission which needs to be paid to the agent can be steep. You also need to ensure that the agent is an experienced and a genuine one as there have been cases where people have been duped by fake agents.

If you want to finance the purchase of your house, then there are various finance options available including financial institutions who offer high-value housing loan which can be paid back in a long tenor. This makes repaying back the loan less of a burden.
